Have you been dreaming of your wedding day forever? I remember pouring over wedding magazines as a teenager, wishing for the day I’d float down the aisle in my gorgeous, elaborate wedding gown. I loved my future wedding.
Having a dream is wonderful. Achieving it is an entirely different matter. Making your dream reality takes courage, drive, determination, understanding and compassion for yourself and others.
There will be errors and misunderstandings. Heck, it isn’t always pretty. Or, nice. Or, neat. Your wedding will have bumps. And, frustrations. And, sore spots. You need to be prepared for that practically- as in have a plan, and emotionally, as in have lots of good support.
So, dream your dream with your eyes open. Enjoy the positives but don’t forget to be ready to handle the negative. Then you really can make your dream- a happy,unique, personalized wedding day- come true.
