You probably know I never saw a wedding show I didn’t love, except for one. My daughter and I lounged on my bed watching quite numerous episodes of the Wedding Show, which was famous in our house for making me cry. I loved Whose Wedding is it Anyway because of the wacky, wonderful planners like Donny, Jeffrey and Linnyette. (What was the name of the planner with the flamboyant suits?)
My new wedding planner buddy, Stephanie, and I had quite a time reminiscing about that show when we met for coffee. She loves Samantha Goldberg while I’m a Jung Lee devotee
But we both agreed we’re hooked on the good feelings- the love, excitement, anticipation of wedding planning. Stephanie aspires to bring a different sensibility to her wedding site. Savvy Chic Weddings (launching 9/30!). She’s all about practical elegance. Her motto: Even if you have a $100k budget, why spend it when you don’t have to? Amen to that I say.
Lots of brides get the planning bug after doing their own wedding. If that’s you, you’ll love to this list of wedding bloggers and business consultants. They represent some of the most innovative thinking available for someone who wants their your own wedding business. I read these folks regularly and learn a ton. What I like most, and what I think you’ll appreciate, is that each one takes a real world approach to business building and totally understands the unique challenges of the wedding industry.
Enjoy. And, hey, if you do take the leap, please let me know. I’d love to welcome you to the fold.

I am a wedding planner (along with my mother we run Wedding Bells of Ky, LLC) in Louisville & Taylorsville KY. I too love the “Whose wedding is it anyway?” and watch it any chance I get.
After a mad search I finally found the name of the flamboyant suits planner from the series – Steve Kemble
Here’s his profile – http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1892601/
I’m really looking forward to spending time on these sites above to learn as much as I can in an effort to be the best wedding planners we know how to be. Thank you for your time and information.

There is so much information and through my own research and surfing, there are a few names/company’s that keep popping up; one of which is yours.
Thank you again, and I look forward to reading more of your blog!
